Happy new year! We have done some primary analysis of simulations sent back to us so far with some intriguing results. In fact, in light of these results we are now planning a small extension to this project in the coming few days. See here for details of the extension!.

26 October, 2006
We are now approaching the end of this project, and this means we unfortunately no longer have any more model simulations available for download. Currently downloaded and running simulations will still be accepted. Please see the link in our previous news item for further details.
If you want to keep contributing your computing time to climate modelling projects, then we encourage you to join the main climateprediction.net experiment.

12 September, 2006
We have very nearly reached our initial target of 2,000 completed workunits! A big thank you once again to everyone who has contributed to reaching this target. We still plan to keep going for a little while yet though. Please see this post for our plans for the final stages of this project.

10 September, 2006
There will be limited access to this project for most of tomorrow. This is because of maintenance scheduled at short notice to the room containing the project server.

31 August, 2006
We've added a webpage providing a few more details to help you Understand your results.

25 July, 2006
We've added a webpage introducing some of the research collaborations being generated from this project. In particular, we're collaborating with the Climate Impacts Group at the University of Washington, to investigate the effect of human-induced climate change on declining spring time snowpack in the North West US and the consequences for coping with heatwaves.

18 July, 2006
We've now reached more than 1,000 completed simulations! Very many thanks to all of you who have contributed to reaching this milestone - we're about halfway there. We've also generated some more simulations to be run as the current pool was running low.

17 July, 2006
Please fill out the BOINC user survey. Your responses will help us improve the Seasonal Attribution project.

09 April, 2006
The project server will be down from 8am on Thursday 13th of April until approximately 6pm that evening. This is due to a re-wiring of electrical systems in our server room. Apologies for the inconvenience.

07 March, 2006
We have now released the final version (vn4.07) of the model!
You can join the project and download the model here .

Some of the Beta Test results are now available for viewing. More results and analyses will be added later.

08 February, 2006
We are coming to the end of the Beta test now, and have a few tens of results which are currently being assessed. The aim is to launch the final version of the model (including some improvements to the graphics) towards the end of this month.

09 January, 2006
There have been some major changes to layout and content of this site, as well as instruction pages for downloading and installing model simulations using BOINC. These should hopefully make the project easier to understand and participate in.

02 December, 2005
We've started receiving back our first completed Beta test runs. More to come..

09 November, 2005
We are currently in the Beta test phase of the project. You can help us by participating and downloading and running a simulation!..
